COMPUTER ENGINEERING

Masters Degree Program with thesis in Computer Engineering is a 120 ECTS credits program with a duration of 2 academic years composed of 4 consecutive 30-ECTS semesters. The regular program consists of 7 courses of 21 local credits, a seminar and a thesis. Both the course work and the thesis have 60 ECTS credits each. Upon a request by the program director, the institute may require the prospective student to enroll additional courses if his/her background is not considered to be sufficient to follow the program requirements.

The graduate program of the Department of Computer Engineering is designed to meet the demands of specialized computer scientists and engineers in the industry and in higher education and also of the qualified students from various academic disciplines to pursue advanced level education.

Graduate students may specialize in Computer Architecture, Algorithms and Data Structures, Artificial Intelligence, Databases, Computer Networks and Distributed Systems, Computer Graphics, Image Analysis, Numerical Computation, Operating Systems, Parallel Computing, Programming Languages, Software Engineering, Natural Language Processing and Modelling and Simulation.

Gradute students who fulfill the requirements of the program at Istanbul Aydin University are granted the degree of Master of Science (M.S.) in Computer Engineering. Graduate Students in this program must demonstrate sufficient competency in Computer Engineering by satisfying the enhanced coursework requirements.

1. Acceptance Letter received from Istanbul Aydin University
2. Turkish translation of Undergraduate diploma and transcript
3. Notarization of translated Undergraduate diploma and transcript from Notary in Turkey or Turkish Embassy in your country
4. Health Insurance for one year (compulsory– You will make your insurance paperwork in J Block with International Students and Staff Affairs.  Insurance Costs between 400,00 to 600,00 TRL)

1. Passport photograph
2. High school diploma (a copy translated to Turkish or English)
3. High school transcript (a copy translated to Turkish or English)
4. Photocopy of the relevant pages of your passport
5. 60 % marks (min) in High School
6. For English degree program applicants: TOEFL score -79 points
   (If English is not the first/ official language of the country). 
   (If students do not have TOEFL then he/ she has to qualify English Proficiency Exam, which will be held in IAU. Dates will be mentioned at http://int.aydin.edu.tr)
7. For Turkish degree program applicants: TOMER B1 level required.
8. Dentistry and Medicine applicants: TOMER C1 level required.
