COMPUTER PROGRAMMING (in English)

MISSION

Computer Programming (English), which was opened in the 2009-2010 academic year, is of great importance for the education of young people who will play an important role in improving the present and future quality of life of our society. In order to cover the shortage of technical staff, our students are given courses in the fields of system design, development, establishment and management of computer networks, system and database management, preparation and presentation of web pages.
Visual programming, database management, internet programming, operating systems, computer hardware, information technologies such as the most needed topics are transferred to the students depending on the course programs, practical information in terms of practice, computer laboratories are reinforced with the application and project studies.

DEPARTMENTS THAT CAN BE PASSED WITH DGS

At the end of the 4th semester, students of the Computer Programming (English) Program can transfer to the four-year undergraduate programs with the Vertical Transfer Exam (DGS). The undergraduate programs that our students can choose at DGS are shown below: Electronics and Computer Education Information Technology Physics Statistics Statistics and Computer Science Control Education Mathematics-Computer Meteorological Engineering Space Engineering Software Engineering

Graduates of this program, all institutions providing internet and e-mail services, all organizations with multi-user computer system, all organizations with computer networks, all organizations engaged in e-commerce, all institutions that provide distance education and so on. places will be able to work easily.

1. Acceptance Letter received from Istanbul Aydin University
2. Turkish translation of High school diploma and transcript
3. Notarization of translated High school diploma and transcript from Notary in Turkey or Turkish Embassy in your country
4. Health Insurance for one year (compulsory – You will make your insurance paperwork in J Block with International Students and Staff Affairs. Insurance Costs between 400,00 to 600,00 TRL)
5. Equivalency Paper (Denklik Belgesi) of High school diploma from Provincial Directorate of Ministry of Education in Istanbul (you will be guided properly on this once you will reach Istanbul Aydin University International Office J - Block)
6. Language Proficiency Certificate
7. Health Insurance for one year (compulsory– You will make your insurance paperwork in J Block with International Students and Staff Affairs.

1. Passport photograph
2. High school diploma (a copy translated to Turkish or English)
3. High school transcript (a copy translated to Turkish or English)
4. Photocopy of the relevant pages of your passport
5. 60 % marks (min) in High School
6. For English degree program applicants: TOEFL score -79 points
   (If English is not the first/ official language of the country). 
   (If students do not have TOEFL then he/ she has to qualify English Proficiency Exam, which will be held in IAU. Dates will be mentioned at http://int.aydin.edu.tr)
7. For Turkish degree program applicants: TOMER B1 level required.
8. Dentistry and Medicine applicants: TOMER C1 level required.
