Overview The Master of Science in Construction Management degree program at Texas A&M University is an advanced course of study focusing on research in areas related to construction management. Students who wish to pursue a Master of Science in Construction Management can expect to obtain a practical study of the interdisciplinary and collaborative processes involved in the design, construction, and management of the built environment, by conducting an extensive research project. Graduate students must choose the thesis option, and must submit a paper for publication in a peer-reviewed venue to successfully complete the program and graduate.Although the Department does not have a Ph.D. program, the Department does have an agreement with the Department of Architecture to admit and supervise students declaring an interest in Construction Management into the Ph.D. in Architecture program. A Ph.D. student in Architecture with an emphasis in Construction Management is supervised directly by two faculty members (co-chairs), one in Construction Management and another in Architecture.
