It has been predicted that over the coming years the construction industry will experience major shortages in skilled construction professionals. This top-up course positions you to meet the needs of the industry honing your ability to work effectively with different construction professionals â€“ such as designers engineers building contractors or specialist consultants â€“ at any stage in the lifecycle of a building. This ability is important in an industry that demands an integrated approach to building projects.

With a strong focus on employability the course develops your understanding of key areas of construction management including contract procurement and risk management; project management; construction economics; emerging technologies; and sustainability.

Our BSc (Hons) Construction Management Top-up course will provide you with the skills and knowledge to succeed in an exciting career in construction.

This degree will give you the opportunity to expand on your current skills knowledge and understanding of design and construction and to advance as a construction professional.

As an industry experiencing major shortages in skilled construction professionals on completion of this qualification you will be well-positioned as a valuable asset and to continue on the path to senior management positions.

To apply for a place on an undergraduate course (BA/BSc) you need to have completed your high school education (12 years) and have a pass equivalent to two UK A level passes and have the required English language qualification.
