    About

    The Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Dance presents a broad perspective on dance training within a liberal arts context. Students completing the B.A. in Dance are well prepared to pursue both graduate work and professional careers in Dance Education, Dance History/Criticism and Dance Performance. The B.A. has two areas of concentration: Contemporary Dance and Flamenco.

    Entry Requirements

    Students who are looking to complete and earn a degree at the Bachelors level. Typically for students who have only completed a Secondary (High School) program.

    Career

    A general program that prepares individuals to express ideas, feelings, and/or inner visions through the performance of one or more of the dance disciplines, including but not limited to ballet, modern, jazz, ethnic, and folk dance, and that focuses on the study and analysis of dance as a cultural phenomenon. Includes instruction in technique, choreography, Laban notation, dance history and criticism, and dance production.

You will be returned to the Online Application Sign-In Page. Then close your browser. To login again, return to your application at apply.unm.edu and sign in using your Username and Password. Finish and submit your application.

    Reset Login ID or PIN

    If you forget your Password, you may request your password by selecting the Forgot Password Link on the Online Application Sign-In Page. Enter your Username and select the Request Password button. You will then go to your Username email inbox to find the email titled – Your New UNM Online Application Password.
