Our M.A. in Counseling in Educational Settings prepares professional practitioners in School Counseling to become change agents in their school and community through a system perspective where all students are served. Our program fosters reflection and ambition in our graduates as they participate in a curriculum designed to translate theory into realistic action.

Entry Requirements

Application fee: $65 (USD) non-refundable

College Transcript and Copy of Original Degree – If you have completed more than one degree, all academic credentials should be submitted. Additionally, if your document is not translated to English a certified English translation is required.
Standardized English language test score – a TOEFL minimum score of 70, IELTS minimum score of 6.0, PTE minimum score of 50 or Duolingo test minimum score of 120 for traditional admissions.

Professional resume/CV
Recommendations – a minimum of 2 are required for Master’s programs, and a minimum of 3 are required for Doctoral (Ph.D.) programs.
Statement of professional objectives – Provide reasons for pursuing the program applied. Describe how you will use this program to reach your career goes, and educational goals beyond the master’s level if applicable. Students should also identify personal qualities that they want the committee to see in them, such as leadership, concerns for others, talent, etc.
