    Overview Learning outcomesThe objectives for Counseling Psychology students graduating with the Bachelor of Arts degree at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary are as follows:Demonstrate an increased understanding of the Christian worldview in relation to the natural and social world.Demonstrate an increased understanding of the theological foundations of Christian ministry.Demonstrate increased competence in practical skills of Christian ministry such as information management, strategic decision-making, and communication.Demonstrate an enhanced foundation for subsequent formal and informal education.Demonstrate familiarity with key concepts, theoretical perspectives, empirical findings, and historical trends in psychology.Articulate a biblical worldview while demonstrating an understanding of existing models of spiritual integration related to the study of psychology.Understand and apply basic research design, data analysis, and interpretation.     The Counseling Psychology degree at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary is designed to provide increased knowledge of the Bible and its interpretation along with an understanding of psychological theory and methodology sufficient to prepare students for graduate study leading to licensure, work in the not-for profit sector, local church ministry, and international or North American missions.

Additional typed pages may be attached to answer any section. A $50.00 non-refundable application fee. Immunization Records Official transcripts from any post-high school educational institution must be sent directly from the institution attended to Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary Admissions Office. Church Endorsement Form completed by the church where the applicant is currently a member. Pastor Recommendation Form completed by a Pastor. If you have less than a one-year relationship with your Pastor, then a deacon or Sunday School teacher may complete this form. If you are a Pastor, send the form to your Director of Missions.Recommendation Forms completed by two persons not related to the applicant and by persons the applicant has known for at least one year.
