Who is the course for?
The course is for everyone who wishes to study creative and cultural industries at postgraduate level. It is designed for graduates who have completed a degree in a related field and wish to develop their career prospects; or graduates who have completed a degree in a different discipline but now wish to pursue a career in the wider creative and cultural industries.
It is also designed for those who already work in the creative and cultural industries and who wish to enhance their effectiveness and confidence in the workplace or to develop their career prospects.

What will I study?
To gain the MA award you will study:
- Creativity, Culture, and Community (20 credits)
- Approaches to Creative and Cultural Industries (20 credits)
- Collaborative Practice (40 credits)
- Management and Innovation in the Creative Economy (20 credits)
- Professional Development (20 credits)
- Final Project (60 credits)

We continually review and where appropriate, revise the range of modules on offer to reflect changes in the subject and ensure the best student experience. Modules will vary when studied in combination with another subject.
Induction
Before starting the course you'll be invited to attend an induction session which will give you details about academic, research and writing skills needed to study at postgraduate level. The induction will include such elements as library skills, IT applications, relevant software skills, research skills and writing at Master’s level. It is also an opportunity to meet with other students on the course.
