Criminal Justice (Top-Up)

The BA (Hons) Criminal Justice (Top-up) is an insightful, multidisciplinary degree, which covers a wide spectrum of subject-related modules, linked to the understanding of crime and criminal justice. You will apply theory to practice when undertaking risk assessments, pre-sentence reports, action plans and intervention strategies. Additionally, you will be introduced to higher-level legal and criminological research skills, focusing on criminal law and criminal justice processes, and produce your dissertation linked to an appropriate area of interest. Upon completion of this degree, you will have gained the skills and knowledge to successfully progress into a range of criminal justice fields, including the police, prison and probation services, youth justice, the courts and tribunals services, a legal profession and charitable and public sector support services.
