Cybercrime Investigation, MSc/PGDip/PGCert

Cybercrime is a fast-growing area that plays a major role in criminal investigations. You will build your expertise in key areas like digital investigation software, law and regulatory requirements, investigation skills and understanding contemporary cybercrimes. You will also gain experience in open-source internet investigation and explore how cybercrime investigation is approached by modern policing.

This course is ideal for those already working in investigations, whether in the public or private sector. It will also enhance the career opportunities for graduates in areas like computer forensics, psychology or policing. You will complete your studies with a research project of your choice, allowing you to make your course truly unique to you.

This programme offers a flexible approach to study and is available at our Preston campus or online. You may study full-time over 1 year or part-time over 2 years.
