As a Dance Performance and Choreography major, you will strengthen your physical skills and explore the history, theory, science, and business of your art. While primary emphasis will be placed on developing impeccable technique through the study of the many diferent dance forms, courses also cover choreography, anatomy, production, and dance history.Company in ResidenceThrough our close collaboration with Florida Dance Theatre, you will gain insight and experience while performing alongside working professionals on all aspects of dance production.Florida Dance Theatre, a touring company comprised of dancers from all over the world, serves as the professional dance company in residence at Florida Southern.
