As machine learning changes the face of processes in industry and society, data science is helping these new technologies constantly improve. This programme provides you with an opportunity to gain a deep skillset in both fields and beyond, enabling you to carve out a successful career in industry or further research.
Run in collaboration with UCL Statistical Science, you will benefit from the world-class research and teaching talents from across computer science and statistics. You will study a range of modules that enable you to gain an extensive understanding of key elements of machine learning, computer science and data science. With the ability to choose from a selection of optional modules, including one taught in collaboration with Google’s DeepMind, you will have the opportunity to build your degree according to your interests and learn from leading experts in many related fields. You will also undertake a project during the summer term, either working on an industry or academic research project.
On successful completion of the programme, you will become part of the next generation of machine learning and data science experts with the ability to apply your knowledge to a range of sectors.
