The 15 credit hour Digital Learning Design (DLD) Certificate provides a range of highly marketable and transferable skills to be used in any profession involving teaching, training or development of personnel or customers/clients. Through a combination of hands-on, competency-based coursework and field experience, students will apply learning theory to the design, development, and implementation of digital learning experiences in a range of environments. In addition, students will develop a digital portfolio of work products they can use to demonstrate creativity and skill mastery to future employers.

Entry Requirements
Students enrolled in Jordanian national curriculum are asked to report their current subjects on the “Current or Most Recent Year Courses” section of the Common App. Advise your school counselor, headmaster, director, etc. to upload the following documents to the Common App:
- Transcripts with final Preparatory school results for year 10, coursework and scores for year 11, and as much as is available for year 12 by the application deadline
- If you have completed secondary school, official copy of the General Secondary Education Certificate (Tawjihi), accompanied by a certified word-for-word English translation
If the transcript is issued in a language other than English, it must be accompanied by an English translation.

The field of learning design is evolving and with it a growing variety of professional fields applying sound learning and design theory using technology. According to the Institute for the Future's (IFTF) "Future Work Skills 2020" report, key drivers reshaping work include new media literacy, design mindset, virtual collaboration, and novel and adaptive thinking (IFTF, 2011). All of these skills are developed and supported through the Digital Learning Design certificate.
