Our Digital Media and Culture BA will provide you with critical insight into the social, political and economic challenges and opportunities brought about by digital technologies. Topics include digital politics, data science, social media, AI, the internet, and much more. This is the only single honours degree in digital media, culture and internet studies taught by a dedicated team in a unique location in central London.The Digital Media & Culture BA develops your knowledge of how all aspects of our everyday lives are shaped by the networked technologies we use and the data we produce. Combining a theoretical emphasis with practical work, we aim to give you the opportunity to work alongside computer scientists and data analysts, with the capacity to critically understand the social, political and economic dimensions of our digital lives. The BA is a three-year course that comprises modules totalling 360 credits. With us, you will learn how to research digital cultures with a range of theoretical and qualitative and quantitative digital methods including network analysis and data visualisation. The flexible design of the course means that you can focus your studies on the elements that most interest you, including digital marketing and services, mobile technologies, digital journalism, coding, data analytics and beyond.

    Entry Requirements

    Certificate of General Secondary Education will not be considered for direct entry - study our International Foundation Programme instead. Please note: students completing King's International Foundation programme will not be able to progress onto our Dentistry programmes.
