    Diploma of Commerce

    About

The Diploma of Commerce introduces you to the fundamental concepts of accounting, business statistics, economics, finance, management and marketing.

The diploma is equivalent to the first year of an undergraduate degree. If you successfully complete the diploma and meet the entry requirements, you can progress directly into the second year of the following degrees without losing any time, as you’ll receive credit for the units you complete in the diploma: Bachelor of Actuarial Studies, Bachelor of Applied Finance, Bachelor of Business, Bachelor of Commerce, Bachelor of Economics, Bachelor of Professional Accounting.

You may need to undertake a mathematics diagnostic test at the beginning of your diploma. Depending on the outcome, we may recommend that you complete a mathematics module, which may increase the time it takes to complete your diploma.

What if I don’t meet the academic requirements?
