Studies at the Loyola College for Diversity and Sustainability are informed by the recognition that issues related to diversity are connected to various problems originating from cultural and other differences between people, and that the inability to address these differences in a constructive way is a major cause of inequality across the globe. Through the Minor in Diversity and the Contemporary World, you'll learn not only about various problems that can arise because of diversity, but also how diversity can be a source of strength to promote equity and social justice both locally and globally.

Montreal is the perfect place for diversity studies, given its residents include people from more than 150 countries around the world. Within the minor, you'll be exposed to a great range of academic approaches and work alongside students from nearly 30 different departments across Concordia.
