Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education
Make a difference in the lives of young learners when you earn an Early Childhood Education (ECE) degree from Kennesaw State University. The ECE: Birth through Kindergarten program prepares you to support children during their formative years by promoting positive social, emotional, and cognitive development. With a diverse curriculum that covers important topics in early childhood education, graduates will be qualified to work as preschool teachers and daycare providers.
The Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education degree offers two concentrations: Traditional Certification Concentration and Non-Certification Concentration.
Gain Hands-On Experience
At KSU, we understand the value of hands-on experience – which is why students pursuing our Early Childhood Education degree are required to gain real-world experience before program completion. During your practicums, you'll complete a rigorous student teaching experience where you will apply your new skills inside the classroom.
You will graduate from the ECE program with the knowledge and skills needed to teach children ages 6 weeks through 5 years of age. You will also learn how to effectively aid and instruct diverse learners, including young children with developmental delays and English Language Learners.
