The MEd in Educational Administration, Foundations and Psychology offers specializations in adult and post-secondary education; counselling psychology; cross-cultural, sociological and philosophical foundations in education; educational administration; and inclusive education. You can choose to take a thesis-based or course-based route.

Thesis-Based Route
Expected duration: 2+ years

The MEd in Educational Administration, Foundations and Psychology program (thesis-based) consists of 18 credit hours of coursework and a thesis requirement.
Courses prepare the student to design and implement a research project that leads to the thesis. For the thesis, students will select a research question, gather and interpret data and present the investigation and its results as a written document with the program advisor's support. An oral defense of the thesis concludes the program.

The MEd in Educational Administration, Foundations and Psychology program (course-based) consists of 30 credit hours of coursework and a comprehensive examination.
With the help of a program advisor, students will select their concentration and courses that lead to mastery within Educational Administration. Once they have completed the course component, students will prepare a document that demonstrates comprehensive mastery with the program advisor's support. The document can be a final examination or a project, which may conclude with an oral defense of the document.
