Educator Licensure - Social Sciences: Anthropology

Students who want to be licensed to teach anthropologyat the secondary level must declare their intention to do so with the History and Social Sciences Educator Licensure Program at the earliest possible opportunity. Educator licensure involves significant requirements in addition to the completion of a degree in anthropology.

• High School Diploma: You must have graduated by the time you start at NIU in order to be admitted.
• Grades: You must have passing grades equivalent to a U.S. C+ average on all transcripts and/or exam scores
