    About

    Course overview

Our course provides the required professional expertise you need for a successful career in engineering or in a variety of other professions. Through a combination of lecture material and extensive lab-based projects, working individually and in small teams, you will build the numerical, analytical and technical knowledge and skills to meet the engineering challenges of the future.

All undergraduate students in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering initially follow a common programme of study, learning the fundamental skills of this discipline. As you progress through the course, the core content and practical projects will focus towards your area of specialisation. During your second year, you can study at either our China or Malaysia campus where you will have the opportunity to continue your academic studies, whilst experiencing a new culture and environment. You will be taught in English from the same curriculum as the UK course and will have dedicated pastoral support. This course offers significant flexibility to transfer to any other EEE strand after joining, where this is possible.
