ELEMENTARY EDUCATION

Mission

At the first stage of primary education, students gain basic knowledge, 

skills and attitudes necessary in social life.

In the classroom teacher program, children's psychology, children's 

literature, human rights, guidance, measurement and evaluation, 

teaching techniques in addition to courses that provide knowledge 

in mathematics, science, social studies, life science, Turkish, fine 

writing, music, painting and physical education and teaching, 

classroom management are taught, and a wide range of 

teaching practices are carried out in schools.

 International exchange programs and study abroad (1 or 2 semesters)
 Possibility to attend graduate programs after graduation

1. Acceptance Letter received from Istanbul Aydin University
2. Turkish translation of High school diploma and transcript
3. Notarization of translated High school diploma and transcript from Notary in Turkey or Turkish Embassy in your country
4. Health Insurance for one year (compulsory – You will make your insurance paperwork in J Block with International Students and Staff Affairs. Insurance Costs between 400,00 to 600,00 TRL)
5. Equivalency Paper (Denklik Belgesi) of High school diploma from Provincial Directorate of Ministry of Education in Istanbul (you will be guided properly on this once you will reach Istanbul Aydin University International Office J - Block)
6. Language Proficiency Certificate
7. Health Insurance for one year (compulsory– You will make your insurance paperwork in J Block with International Students and Staff Affairs.

Teacher Program, T.C. In official and private schools affiliated to the 

Ministry of National Education, they can teach in the classrooms, 

and they can conduct postgraduate studies at universities

1. Passport photograph
2. High school diploma (a copy translated to Turkish or English)
3. High school transcript (a copy translated to Turkish or English)
4. Photocopy of the relevant pages of your passport
5. 60 % marks (min) in High School
6. For English degree program applicants: TOEFL score -79 points
   (If English is not the first/ official language of the country). 
   (If students do not have TOEFL then he/ she has to qualify English Proficiency Exam, which will be held in IAU. Dates will be mentioned at http://int.aydin.edu.tr)
7. For Turkish degree program applicants: TOMER B1 level required.
8. Dentistry and Medicine applicants: TOMER C1 level required.
