    Admissions Requirements Select concentration in: Applied Linguistics Dual Language Immersion When applying to the English To Speakers of Other Languages, M.A.T. program, you will need to submit several documents for review. Online Application Application Fee of $50 Goals Statement (upload with the application) Resume (upload with the application) Two Letters of Recommendation (identify your recommenders on the application) Official Transcript: minimum 2.5 undergraduate GPA required for admission submit transcripts from all colleges/universities attended In order to meet certification requirements in Georgia, you will also need to complete the following prior to program admission: Georgia Educator Ethics Program Entry (350) GACE Program Admission Assessment You may exempt this test if you have received appropriate minimum scores on the ACT, SAT, or GRE.     English Program Requirements

    For students required to show English Language Proficiency for summer 2020 and fall 2020, Georgia State accepts Duolingo English tests as one of the new English proficiency tests. To register for the test, please go to go.duolingo.com/applicants. The Duolingo English Test can be taken online from a computer with a camera. Certified results are available within two days and can be shared instantly with the university. For 2020-2021 admissions cycle, any changes on the admissions requirements will be updated on the website under the guidance from the University System of Georgia.
