Overview
The Centre for Applied Entomology and Parasitology (CAEP) is primarily situated within the buildings of the School of Life Sciences (Huxley Building) and the School of Chemical and Physical Sciences (LennardJones Laboratories).
It is an interdisciplinary research centre that offers a lively and stimulating atmosphere for advanced study and research. There are 4050 members: professors, lecturers and their associated postdoctoral research assistants, postgraduate students and technicians.
Members meet regularly for seminars, workshops, journal clubs and symposia. Research projects are supported by funding from a variety of Research Council, Charity and Industrial sources. The Centre is supported by a wide range of stateoftheart equipment within newly refurbished and purposebuilt laboratory space.
