    About

    The growth of technology, globalization of economies, and rapid increases in population and per capita consumption, have had dramatic environmental impacts on our Earth, on society’s relationship with the earth, and on our daily lives.

    The Interfaculty Program in Environment is designed to provide students with a broad “Liberal Arts/Science” training. It offers the flexibility for students to shape their program around unique personal and academic objectives, while developing the skills and knowledge base required to face the myriad of environmental problems currently facing society.

    Applicants are reviewed on their high school transcript with particular emphasis on yearly averages and results in prerequisite subjects (prerequisite subjects must have been completed during the last two years of high school).

    Bologna-signatory countries

    McGill welcomes qualified applicants from throughout Europe, including from schools in Bologna signatory countries. Applicants will be considered for admission into McGill degree programs of similar duration as those at comparable, research-intensive universities in Europe. Accordingly, qualified applicants to the faculties of Arts, Education, and Management at McGill, with a Bologna-compliant diploma that leads to a three-year undergraduate program in Europe, will be admissible to a three-year program at McGill. Students in Management will be required to complete additional mathematics coursework.
