Whilst studying an MSc in Global Diversity and Conservation, students will explore the complexities of biodiversity, conservation strategies, and ecosystem management. Students will study conservation science, the importance of biodiversity at local to global scales, environmental policy, and core research skills in biodiversity and conservation. Students will develop skills in biodiversity assessment, environmental impact evaluation, wildlife surveys, and project management. This course provides the skills and confidence to work in related fields such as environmental management and conservation.

Requirements
Entry Requirements
A minimum of a second class (with 55% average) honours degree or equivalent in biological sciences or related field.
IELTS 6.5 (with a minimum of 6.0 in each component) or equivalent English test.
English Program Requirements
All students must demonstrate that they have achieved a certain level of English before starting their programme. You will need to provide a recognised English language test or qualification before you can be accepted to Swansea University

Please note that some research scholarship, funded positions, may require a higher English Language test score than standard to be obtained prior to enrolment or held at the point of application. If your English scores do not exactly meet our requirements, you could still be accepted if you successfully complete an English Language Pre-sessional Programme at Swansea’s English Language Training Services (ELTS) at the required level before starting your academic programme.
