About

The Master of Science degree course in Evolution and Ecology isÂ designed to provide high-level qualifications based on the systematic and critical acquisition and augmentation of scientific knowledge. The focus of the course is on the evolution of organisms and the consequences of their interactions with the environment. The course provides instruction on the origin, evolution, and conservation of complex biological systems in time (current â€“ historical) and space (local â€“ global). It integrates processes from the genetic level through the organism to the ecological communities. The curriculum covers synthetic fundamental principles as well as applied, environmentally relevant aspects.
