MISSION

The objective of the program is to train individuals who have the skills to interpret the concept of fashion, criteria of fashion, fashion trends; have the knowledge in knitting, weaving, printing, embroidery, haute couture, accessory design and production techniques.

 At design, planning, cutting, pattern, production, quality control and marketing departments of garment industry,

 Production and design departments of weaving, knitting and printing,

 Production development and pattern design departments of textile factories,

 Fashion Houses (Design studios to customer relations and export departments),

 Pattern Design Departments (From Houte Couture to fashion photography),

 Fashion Agencies (From the front of the stage to the backstage at the departments of hair, make-up,accessories, stage, light, sound, effect, choreography and music),

Export departments of the businesses (import-export and customer relations departments),

 Design Studios,

 Businesses that offer computer-aided textile and design programs,

You can establish your own business.

DEPARTMENT OPPORTUNITIES

Students gain relative skills and knowledge by bringing together technical and occupational education through internships at textile companies. This way students start their business life a step ahead of their competitors.

Projects and activities conducted in collaboration with the sector protecting our cultural heritage make a difference by increasing the students' social and cultural sensitivity, occupational experience and point of view.

1. Acceptance Letter received from Istanbul Aydin University
2. Turkish translation of High school diploma and transcript
3. Notarization of translated High school diploma and transcript from Notary in Turkey or Turkish Embassy in your country
4. Health Insurance for one year (compulsory – You will make your insurance paperwork in J Block with International Students and Staff Affairs. Insurance Costs between 400,00 to 600,00 TRL)
5. Equivalency Paper (Denklik Belgesi) of High school diploma from Provincial Directorate of Ministry of Education in Istanbul (you will be guided properly on this once you will reach Istanbul Aydin University International Office J - Block)
6. Language Proficiency Certificate
7. Health Insurance for one year (compulsory– You will make your insurance paperwork in J Block with International Students and Staff Affairs.

1. Passport photograph
2. High school diploma (a copy translated to Turkish or English)
3. High school transcript (a copy translated to Turkish or English)
4. Photocopy of the relevant pages of your passport
5. 60 % marks (min) in High School
6. For English degree program applicants: TOEFL score -79 points
   (If English is not the first/ official language of the country). 
   (If students do not have TOEFL then he/ she has to qualify English Proficiency Exam, which will be held in IAU. Dates will be mentioned at http://int.aydin.edu.tr)
7. For Turkish degree program applicants: TOMER B1 level required.
8. Dentistry and Medicine applicants: TOMER C1 level required.
