    About

    Lights. Camera. Action.

Digital media has transformed visual storytelling. From online streaming sites – such as Netflix – to social media video marketing, the film and video production industry is in a new era with growing opportunities.

This program prepares you for a career in narrative film, entertainment television or video production. Courses explore topics ranging from production design and screenplay writing, to film history and media theory. You'll build a strong foundation in videography and storytelling, with hands-on experiences and skills in shooting, editing, writing, directing and producing.

In the program's capstone course, you'll put your skills into action and create your own film or multimedia project, which could be selected for showcase at the university's annual Kino Short Film Festival.
