About

The objective of this MSc Finance (Corporate Finance) programme is to produce graduates who can contribute immediately in the corporate finance industry. There are many reasons to choose this unique course, including the following:

English Language Requirements (for Non-Irish EU applicants)

Teaching in Irish Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) is normally through the medium of English; therefore all applicants are required to demonstrate a high level of competence in the English Language.

Applicants whose first language is not English must provide evidence of equivalent competence in English Language through their school leaving examination or matriculation examination or by achieving the minimum standard (there may be higher levels for matriculation and/or particular programmes in individual institutions) in a recognised English language test, as specified below (note applicants are assessed on the results of a single sitting only):

Career

The course prepares you for careers in investment banking, large corporations, and business advisory firms. Graduates of the course will also enter careers in regulation, venture capital, and consultancy.

All the top international and national companies recruit students from UCC. The course management team spend a lot of time developing links with the top international companies with a particular focus both on Dublin and London and beyond.

Recognising that not all our graduates are interested in pursuing careers abroad or in Dublin we also actively foster relationships with the local business community in Munster.
