    Over one year, you’ll complete modules capturing different aspects of financial management. To make the most out of the course, you’ll need to adapt quickly to this level of study. We know this can be difficult, so we’ve given this course its own dedicated course leader who you can turn to for support at any time.

    You’ll examine the basic principles of financial management and apply them to decision making, and we’ll discuss innovative approaches like Islamic finance. The course also includes a module on leadership, change management and strategy as we know many of our graduates work towards securing leadership positions in large organisations.

    To help you develop the latest knowledge employers look for, we’ll look at technology and innovation that aims to compete with traditional financial methods. We’ll consider how the use of technology has the potential to create change and help organisations evolve.

    BSc (Hons) Financial Management (Top-Up) is a one-year Level 6 course. To be considered, you should normally have successfully completed one of the following:

    - A relevant Higher National Diploma (HND)

    - A relevant Foundation Degree

    - Level 5 (or equivalent) of a relevant undergraduate degree, to the equivalent of 240 CATS credits.
