FOOD SAFETY

Master's Degree Program with thesis in Food safety is a 120 ECTS credits program with a duration of 2 academic years composed of 4 consecutive 30-ECTS semesters. The regular program consists of 7 sourses of 21 local credits, a seminar and a thesis. Both the course work and the thesis worth 60 ECTS credits each. Upon a request by the program director, the institute may require the prospective student to enroll additional courses if his/her background is not considered to be sufficient to follow the program.

Food Safety Master's program, offers high education opportunities for students coming from interdisciplinary branches such as  Food Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Veterinary, Nutrition/Dietetics, Agricultural Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Food Technology, Aquaculture, Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Primary Health Sciences, Medicine, Nursing, Genetics,  Pharmacy. Graduate students receive in-depth multidisciplinary training on food safety.Through our program graduate students receive in - depth training in the core disciplines of food chemistry, food microbiology, food engineering and processing.

1. Acceptance Letter received from Istanbul Aydin University
2. Turkish translation of Undergraduate diploma and transcript
3. Notarization of translated Undergraduate diploma and transcript from Notary in Turkey or Turkish Embassy in your country
4. Health Insurance for one year (compulsory– You will make your insurance paperwork in J Block with International Students and Staff Affairs.  Insurance Costs between 400,00 to 600,00 TRL)

1. Passport photograph
2. Undergraduate diploma (a copy translated to Turkish or English)
3. Undergraduate transcript (a copy translated to Turkish or English)
4. Photocopy of the relevant pages of your passport
5. A cumulative GPA of 2,5 (on a 4,0) or equivalent
6. For English degree program applicants: TOEFL score -66 points (If English is not the   first/      official language of the country). If students do not have TOEFL then he/ she has to qualify English Proficiency Exam, which will be held in IAU. Dates will be mentioned at http://int.aydin.edu.tr .
7. Students applying for Turkish Degree program (TOMER B2 Level)
8. If you know Turkish (You can pass a Turkish Proficiency Exam)
9. If you do not know Turkish then Apply for Turkish Language Program first at tomer.aydin.edu.tr, as without having Turkish Language visa students will not be registered to TÖMER.
