    Gastroenterology - MSc

    About

    This theoretical online course is designed to facilitate a better understanding of common gastroenterology disorders typically found in the community and enable students to upskill in diagnostic and management of gastroenterological disorders. What's more, students will be better equipped to read and interpret endoscopy reports, an increasingly important element of practice.

    Research Methodologies and Critical Appraisal: Gastroenterology
    Run over 12 weeks, this module is designed to help students recognise, understand, interpret and apply methods used in healthcare research and critically appraise the various methodologies specific to Gastroenterology research.

    Professional Project: Gastroenterology

    This module will develop an ability to critically evaluate areas of professional practice; critically appraise specific areas of clinical, research and organisational practice; develop skills in independent research and study and develop skills relevant to scientific publications.

    Academic Qualifications

    • Students who have completed a 4 year Bachelor degree (60% overall or a GPA of 2.5 or above on the scale of 4, 4 being the highest) can be considered for entry onto a relevant postgraduate programme of study.
    • Applicants with other relevant qualifications or work experience may be considered on a case by case basis.

    International applicants will need to have achieved an overall of IELTS 6.0 with a minimum of 5.5 in each component/TOEFL 72 overall and a minimum of 18 in reading, 17 in listening, 20 in speaking and 17 in writing or equivalent.
