About

The degree programme Master of Science Geodesy and Geoinformation is designed to deepen and broaden engineering knowledge and skills in surveying by specialising in a sub-field of geodesy or geoinformation. The wide variety and combination possibilities of the various modules and optional courses allow students to address their personal interests in the area. A mentoring system supports each student during the process of selecting suitable courses and subjects.

Entry Requirements

Applying with international qualifications (language requirements, application deadlines): International Admission. Requirements for admission to the Masters degree programme consist of Bachelor of Science degree in a similar area or an equivalent degree. Admission to the Masters Degree programme may also depend on some additional requirements. Specific degree entrance requirements may be found here and in the competences description.

English Program Requirements

You must pass the “Deutsche Sprachprüfung für den Hochschulzugang” (DSH-2) as evidence that your spoken and written command of the German language is adequate for Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programmes for which the language of instruction is German.

Participating in the DSH at the Studienkolleg is subject to charge.

Career

Teachers at Secondary Schools do not only teach their subjects but work within a greater pedagogical and organisational framework. They find positions not only at grammar schools (â€œGymnasienâ€), but in different sectors of the widespread school system. Valid statements on the future career perspectives are not easy to be made since they depend on a variety of factors, for example the range of subjects a teacher is able to teach.
