Requirements

Entry Requirements

Students must complete GFA 1000 (Introduction to On-Set Production) before enrolling in the minor. The GFA curriculum starts with a two-course sequence, both of which generate six credit hours accepted by Georgia State degree programs in the School of Film, Media, and Theatre and CMII. The first course, GFA 1000, provides professional training for participants seeking jobs as production assistants. The second, GFA 2000, invites the most accomplished graduates of the first course into on-set internships. Students can register for the first two classes, offered every fall, spring and seven-week summer session, through GoSolar. English Program Requirements

For students required to show English Language Proficiency for summer 2020 and fall 2020, Georgia State accepts Duolingo English tests as one of the new English proficiency tests. To register for the test, please go to go.duolingo.com/applicants. The Duolingo English Test can be taken online from a computer with a camera. Certiﬁed results are available within two days and can be shared instantly with the university. For 2020-2021 admissions cycle, any changes on the admissions requirements will be updated on the website under the guidance from the University System of Georgia.
