Overview The geosciences are integral to meeting society's demands for natural resources, environmental quality, and safety in the face of natural hazards. Geosciences are fundamentally linked to the economic and social well-being of human societies. The geosciences lead the way in providing the scientific solutions to the challenges that characterize the 21st century.The College of Geosciences at Texas A&M University offers graduate and professional programs designed to prepare graduates to make a contribution to this mission. We seek qualified applicants from all scientific and engineering backgrounds, willing and able to join us in interdisciplinary research that crosses departmental and disciplinary boundaries.
