Why Declare a Minor in Geospatial Analysis and Modeling for the Environment (GAME)?

In this minor you gain technical skills in the geospatial fields of remote sensing and geography as well as modeling skills in mathematics and economics. Together, these skills position you to lead in areas where experience in visualization, data modeling, and geospatial analysis is in high demand such as in health care, engineering, biology, computer science, history, anthropology, archaeology and more.

How Do I Declare a Minor in Geospatial Analysis and Modeling for the Environment (GAME)?

Students interested in declaring a minor in geospatial analysis and modeling for the environment (GAME) should complete a declaration form and have the form signed by the Director of Undergraduate Programs in the School for the Environment.  The School for the Environment office is located in McCormack Building, 2nd Floor, Room 620. 

• Completed UMass Boston online admission application
• Application fee: $60
• An official high school record, leaving certificate and/or graduation examination results or their notarized copies. All documents in foreign languages must be translated by a certified professional. Records must be sent directly from the institution to be considered official.
• Academic recommendation letter (from a school-based counselor and/or teacher)
• 500-word essay
• Test scores
