The Global and Intercultural Studies co-major enhances your primary degree through the exploration of global power systems, cultures, and economic and political trends. You'll learn to solve contemporary problems with interdisciplinary perspectives and an understanding of the forces that shape and are shaped by our interconnected world.

• Academic Records
  • Academic records include all secondary school studies, beginning with 9th grade through the most current available at the time of application.
  • Proof of secondary school graduation is required before you enroll at Miami.
• Proof of English Language Proficiency
  • Provide TOEFL or IELTS test scores or provide alternative proof of English language proficiency.

Required Documents for Visa

An I-20 visa document is required to enroll as an international student at Miami University. To receive yours, please first provide the following items:

• A copy of your passport or national identification card.
• An international student financial support form with documentation of financial support, such as a bank statement. (Tax returns or letters of employment/income are not acceptable.)
