Suitable for a range of social- and health-services professions, students in the Graduate Certificate in Couple and Family Counselling Studies will:

enhance existing counselling skills and self-awareness with hands-on experience
examine therapy concepts, as well as their implications for parenting, to improve family function
support couple and family relationships with a focus addiction and mental health
assess the effects of changing cultural, economic and socio-political conditions on couples and families
explore ways transition and crises affect coping in the family system
demonstrate ways to develop resilience, prevent addiction and limit negative mental health during times of stress
