    Overview

    In this course, you will explore educational research methodology and design an educational research project.

    On completion of this course, you may be eligible to progress to other graduate coursework or research programs, subject to entry requirements and competitive entry, including a Master of Education (Research) with advanced standing.

    Admission criteria

    To be considered for entry into this course, you must have:

    • A four-year degree (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline with a University of Melbourne equivalent score of at least 75, OR
    • An undergraduate degree in any discipline and at least 50 credit points (or equivalent) of graduate study in a relevant discipline with a combined University of Melbourne equivalent score of at least 75.

    Disciplines directly related to this course include education, sociology (with an education focus or within an education context) and psychology (with an education focus or within an education context).

    Where our admission criteria includes a minimum Weighted Average Mark (WAM) and/or specific subject criteria, these are based on University of Melbourne grades and subjects. If you've studied elsewhere, we'll assess your relevant prior studies and equivalent grades.
