About
About the course This course is comprised of three core units which provide important foundation knowledge in the principles of teaching and learning, assessment, evaluation and research methods in health professions education. In addition, students are required to select one elective unit of study as part of the Graduate Certificate course. The elective unit provides an opportunity to explore an area of educational interest in further detail.

Admission Requirements To be considered for admission to this course an applicant must have—(a) a relevant bachelor's degree1, or an equivalent qualification, as recognised by UWA; or(b) a level and duration of health-related education and professional experience considered by UWA to be sufficient to permit satisfactory completion of the course.1A relevant bachelor's degree includes a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery, and a bachelor's degree in a health, biomedical or biological sciences-related discipline.
English Program Requirements
ADMISSION REQUIREMENT English competency English is the language of instruction and assessment at UWA and you will need to meet the English language requirements of the University to be eligible for a place. This course has higher ELC requirements. Applicants presenting with the IELTS Academic require an overall score of at least 7.0 and no band less than 6.5. For more information visit ELC requirements.
