About this Course
This course will prepare you to develop knowledge and skills to practice contemporary primary health care across a range of contexts.
You will explore and analyse factors causing health inequity within and between Australian populations, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations will be considered as an example of a primary health care organisation underpinned by the universal principles of primary health care. Learning activities will support essential critical thinking, autonomy and advocacy skill development. The suite of optional units provides an opportunity for you to focus on your area of interest and expertise.
