UNE’s Graduate Certificate in Public Health (One Health) provides a foundational understanding of the underlying mechanisms for the transmission of diseases between species and the facilitating environments. When studying this course, you will:
- Develop a deep understand of the One Health concept and learn to problem-solve using a trans-disciplinary approach.
- Gain insight into the source, environment and factors behind the spread of infectious diseases where humans, animals, and the environment interact.
- Assess the effects of infections that affect multiple hosts on the health and economics of humans, animals, and ecosystems, either directly or indirectly through food, disease vectors, or the environment.
- Offered fully online, you can balance your studies with your other commitments. Complete your graduate certificate in as little as six months when studying full-time, or take it on step at a time over two years part-time.
