    The Graduate Certificate of Cybersecurity is designed to provide you with fundamental IT skills and an extensive understanding of the field of cybersecurity. The course will develop your knowledge of essential IT areas including software and data security, as well as a foundation of cybersecurity principles.

    Learn to apply your skills and knowledge in practical ways within the ever-evolving Industry 4.0 environment. This qualification teaches you the in-demand human-centric solutioning skills that employers are seeking within the industry, while you gain an understanding of the continuously changing environment and the crucial nature of ethical and professional decision making in a cybersecurity context.

    This course has been co-developed with industry-leading ICT practitioners and academics, and is structured to meet the Australian Computer Society’s Core Body of Knowledge (CBOK) and Cybersecurity Body of Knowledge (CyBOK).

    Admission criteria

    Before you begin your course application to study as an international student, check that you meet the requirements below.

    Completion of a qualification at AQF Level 7 (Bachelor degree) or above in Information Technology, Business Information Systems or relevant disciplines
    Academic IELTS 6.5 (no band less than 6.0) or equivalent.
    OR alternative entry requirements may be available. Alternative entry may include assessment and approval of prior study, or successful completion of a readiness assessment. Contact the International Admissions team for more information.
