This program prepares you for a career in museum and heritage studies or gives you an opportunity to commence further study to progress your career.

    This Graduate Certificate can be completed as a stand alone award, or as a pathway to further study in the Master of Museum and Heritage Studies.

    This program is only available on a part-time basis.

    1. analyse, research and reflect on approaches to museums and collecting agencies and their relationships to societies;

    2. analyse, research and reflect on approaches approaches to heritage management, relevant public policy and heritage agencies and their relationships to societies; and

    3. develop critical engagement with, and a working knowledge of, museums and heritage agencies.

    1. To be admitted to a postgraduate coursework degree, you need to already hold or be about to complete an Australian Bachelor Degree or other qualification accepted by ANU as comparable to an Australian Bachelor Degree as per the Australian Qualification Framework.
