    The Graduate Diploma in Corporate Law (GDipCorp) is ideal for lawyers and other professionals engaged in issues relating to corporate law who are looking to take the next step in their careers.

    Entry Requirements

    Admission criteria

    To be considered for entry into this course, you must have completed:

    • A degree in law (LLB, JD or equivalent) with a University of Melbourne equivalent score of at least 70 leading to admission to legal practice, OR
    • A degree in law (LLB, JD or equivalent) leading to admission to legal practice and at least one year of documented, relevant professional experience, OR
    • An undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline and at least one year of documented, relevant professional work experience.

    Professional experience relevant to this course includes lawyers and other professionals engaged in issues relating to corporate law.

    Meeting the published entry requirements for this course does not guarantee selection.

    Where our admission criteria includes a minimum Weighted Average Mark (WAM) and/or specific subject criteria, these are based on University of Melbourne grades and subjects. If you've studied elsewhere, we'll assess your relevant prior studies and equivalent grades. Your final WAM may be adjusted depending on your previous institution's accreditation, subject grading, and pass marks.

  • Career

    As a student in the Graduate Diploma of Corporate Law, you’ll develop advanced knowledge relating to the field of Australian corporate law, including the acquisition and application of knowledge and skills in relation to basic economic analysis of the law and its practical application.
