    This course is an exit-only qualification from the UTS Online Master of International Relations (C04455). This course suits students who want a robust understanding of global politics in a more compressed timeframe, without as many elective subjects or a research project.

    Building on the foundational knowledge gained in the first four subjects, you can explore additional core subjects such as Geopolitics and Australian Foreign Policy, the Asia Pacific in the 21st Century, Global Crime, Justice and Security, and one elective subject.

    Entry Requirements

    For admission into most postgraduate courses, you are required to hold a recognised bachelor's degree equivalent to an Australian bachelor's degree. Your academic performance at the bachelor's level will be considered as part of your application assessment. In some instances, you may also require relevant work experience and/or research experience. If relevant, you may demonstrate this through submission of a CV, portfolio, and/or a personal statement.

  • IELTS (Academic/Online/OSR): 6.5 overall, writing 6.0
  • TOEFL (Internet-based/Home Edition): 79-93 overall, writing 21
  • PTE (Academic): 58-64 with a writing score of 50
  • C1A/C2P: 176-184 with a writing score of 169
  • UTS College Academic English Level 5 (AE5): Pass grade
