This course develops originality and independence of thought and trains students in research. It is a path for students proceeding to a higher degree. Additionally, this course broadens knowledge and provides exposure to the latest developments in health related research, thereby enhancing employment prospects.

As well as studying units in a chosen discipline, students will examine academic research methodology and enhance their analytical skills. Students will also complete a supervised research project and present findings as an honours dissertation.
