The HNC Poultry Production is designed to give you a range of the knowledge and skills you need to work in the poultry industry, covering subjects like commercial egg and poultry meat production.
You'll learn about poultry health and how to manage and maintain a healthy stock of laying or breeding birds, and gain a thorough understanding of the control measures and legislative requirements that apply to today's industry.
Academic learning is underpinned by a variety of case studies/reports and essays, leading to a final graded unit in which you'll investigate and report on a real-life scenario.
