The Individual Studies (INDS) program is an adaptable degree perfect for students who need flexibility in their coursework. The program provides opportunities for students to combine classes taken in a previous program with classes from other fields of study. Curious minds and highly motivated students can focus in disciplines they are the most passionate about when a traditional degree does not meet that need. Individual Studies is an intentional choice and provides intellectual engagement that is meaningful and challenging by integrating multiple disciplines. Individual Studies is an opportunity to complete a degree that fits your future.
To apply to the Associate of Individual Studies, you must complete an application and, once accepted your will meet with an academic advisor to create a statement outlining your educational goals and an appropriately detailed outline of the courses you propose to study. This statement will be reviewed by an advisor in consultation with faculty in the INDS area. When approved, you will continue to work with an advisor to register for courses and ensure you stay on track to complete your program.
