Program overview
A master's degree in the Individualized Program (INDI) allows you to design your own research goals in areas not covered by existing programs and to explore topics outside traditional research boundaries. Under the mentorship of a supervisory committee, you will use concepts and methodologies from various fields to examine a unique research problem. Some examples of subjects our students are currently exploring include game studies, preventive health and synthetic biology. Montreal's status as a hub for innovation and culture provides the ideal backdrop for you to tailor your own academic program and research goals. With access to a wide range of research units, you will join a diverse community of self-driven students who have found success in a variety of careers within and outside of academia.
